Seeing the smile on others and having fun together

HAPPY Day people!

How are you guys!

I just came back from a Freshmen Orientation Camp which lasted 4 days. It was for the new freshmen who are entering into the NUS School of Business. My orientation group was named after ODIN, God of Wisdom and Battle in the legend of the Norse. We had lots of fun and were really very HAPPY.

The main thing was that we were enjoying ourselves throughout the camp and the group was well bonded. During the last day, we sacrificed our sleep in bid to give the best skit performance to the camp. Indeed, we won the best skit award and everyone was overjoyed.

To be happy is not difficult, the task is to be able to enjoy whatever things you will be doing. During the camp, there were lots of games and we needed to get wet and dirty and even muddy at times. However, we were having fun and although sometime my group lost, we enjoyed ourselves and were HAPPY!

As I was one of the councilors, we had to prepared some gifts for the freshmen, I personally made key chains for each of them. Even though, I thought that the design would have been better, after seeing their grateful and positive reaction upon receiving their gifts and hearing lots of “Thank You!” My heart melted and I was truly over the moon!

You see, enjoying in a company of friends is a wonderful thing. You can have lots of fun together and share the joy with everyone. On the other hand, we need to be in the right company of friends. Seeing the smile on others will certainly make your day. It is one of the driving forces to make you happy.

So, take some time out today to go out with friends and do some ‘crazy’ things, I don’t mean anything legally or ethnically or socially wrong stuffs. Be yourself and be really HAPPY!
